He married twice. He married Lucy Bishop in Coventry, CT, March 09, 1769. Lucy was born in Norwich, CT December 21, 1747. Lucy was the daughter of Caleb Bishop and Keziah Hibbard. Lucy died November 27, 1783 in Coventry, CT, at 35 years of age. He married Sarah Coleman April 29, 1784. Sarah was born March 04, 1749. Sarah was the daughter of Ebenezer Coleman and Sarah Brown. Sarah died August 12, 1837 at 88 years of age. Selectman of Coventry and member of the Connecticut General Assembly in 1781 who responded to the Lexington Alarm under Capt. Elias Buell of Coventry and served as private and corporal.
