Aunt Bette's Dill Pickles
Dill Pickles

4 quarts medium cukes
1 quart cider vinegar 
1 cup pickling salt 
3 quarts water 
1 per jar clove of garlic 
2 pieces dill in each jar
Directions
Wash 4 quarts medium cukes and let stand overnight in cold water. Sterilize jars and lids. Drain cukes. Put dill in bottom of jar, add cukes, a clove of garlic, and then more dill. Combine 1 quart cider vinegar, 1 cup pickling salt, and 3 quarts water. Bring to a boil in a glass, stainless steel, or enamel pan. Fill jars to top. Seal and store at least a month.
