Hungarian Nut Cookies
Qty Unit of Measure Ingredient
Dough Ingredients
3 cups flour
1/2 lb butter
5 tsp baking powder
5 tbsp sugar
1/2 cup milk
Filling Ingredients
1/3 cup milk
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup raw sugar
1 lb walnuts (ground)
Directions:
Mix the dough ingredients like pie dough. Roll out to 1/4 inch thick and cut into squares. Heat filling mixture to warm (nuts). Spoon onto rolled out dough squares, fold like diaper. Bake 350 degrees for 5-7 mins. until the crust gets golden. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
